Ein bunter Reigen Einen wahren Ohrenschmaus bieten – besonders im Juli und August 2008 – die Konzerte des Wiener Hofburg Orchesters. Klassisch im doppelten Sinn ist auch die Konzertagentur Hofbauer – sie feiert ihr 30-jähriges Bestehen. Im Herbst 2008 stehen hochkarätige Messen im Fokus. Die Wohndesign vom 15.–19. Oktober inspiriert fürs eigene Zuhause, die Messe für Kunst & Antiquitäten ist ein Highlight für Kunstliebhaber. Veranstalter der bei- den Messen ist MAC Hoffmann, der sein 15-jähriges Jubiläum feiert. Die LUXURY, please vom 19.–24. Novem- ber zieht all jene an, die es gerne exquisit haben. Sehen und gesehen werden heißt es bei „Una Notte Sportiva“ am 26. September 2008 und der KURIER-ROMY-Gala am 25. April 2009. Treue Kunden sind unsere 16 Ballver- anstalter und teilweise mit über 100- jähriger Tradition. Der Juristenball, der Ball der Wiener Kaffeesieder, der WKR- Ball (Wiener Korporationsring) und die Rudolfina Redoute sind seit 50 Jahren in der Hofburg zu Gast. Der 39. Kaiserball steht unter dem Motto „Der Kongress tanzt“. Die HOFBURG Vienna verleiht jeder Konferenz und Tagung imperiales Flair. Den Kongressauftakt macht der Phar- maziekongress vom 10.–12. Oktober 2008 mit 500 Teilnehmern. Business Networking im Tourismus bietet 2008 sowohl die Kongress- leitmesse ACCESS vom 6.–7. Oktober mit mehr als 5.000 Besuchern als auch der Kongress der Relais & Châteaux Hotels im November 2008 mit 500 Teilnehmern. 2009 ist der Medizin mit Kongressen zwischen 600 und 1.200 Personen ein Schwerpunkt gesetzt: die 53. Jahres- tagung der Gesellschaft für Thrombose und Hämostaseforschung vom 3.–6. Februar, das Joint Meeting on the 7th World Congress on Melanoma und der 5th Congress of the European Association of Dermato-Oncology vom 13.–16.Maisowieder2ndInternational Congress on Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder vom 21.–24. Mai. 2009 setzt ein Canon Event mit 2.500 Gästen sowie unser Stammkunde, das 30. Wiener Internationale Motoren- symposium vom 7.–8. Mai mit 1.000 Teilnehmern, Akzente. n “If music be the food of love”, the Hofburg will be the place to be in July and August for the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra’s concerts. Another classic is Konzertagentur Hofbauer, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. In autumn the focus will be on prestigious exhibitions. Wohndesign, on 15–19 October, offers inspiration for a beautiful home and the Art & Antiques Fair is a highlight for art lovers. The two events are organised by MAC Hoffmann, who are celebrating their 15th anniversary. LUXURY, please, on 19–24 November, attracts people with exquisite taste. The Hofburg will also be the place to see and be seen for Una Notte Sportiva on 26 September 2008 and for the KURIER-ROMY-Gala on 25 April 2009. The Hofburg’s regulars include 16 ball committees, some of which have been active over 100 years. The Jurists’ Ball, the Viennese Coffee Roasters’ Ball, the WKR Ball and the Rudolfina Redoute have been held here for the last fifty years. “The Congress Dances” is the motto of this year’s 39th Kaiserball. HOFBURG Vienna lends an imperial note to every congress. The first of the jubilee conferences will be the Pharmacy Congress with 500 dele- gates on 10–12 October. Opportunities for networking in tourism will be avail- able in 2008 at ACCESS, the trade show for the meetings industry organ- ised for more than 5,000 visitors on 6–7 October, and at the Relais & Châteaux Hotels Conference with 500 attendees in November.
