IAEA-Ball

Hosting some very important international associations such as the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), the UN (United Nations) and the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe) the city of Vienna is in the political centre of interest. Beside the many conferences, congresses and meetings the IAEA is also participating in the classic Viennese ball season. As a fact on Saturday, 4 February they invite to the IAEA Ball taking place in the Hofburg.

Every year the Hofburg Vienna plays host to twenty traditional balls that attract to 55,000 to 60,000 guests from all over the world and generate around EUR 10 million in GDP. In the ball season 2012/13 the Hofburg Vienna will be very proud hosting the premiere of the New Year's Eve ball "Le Grand Bal".
