On February 17 the "who's who" of business, politics and culture will meet at the Hofburg Vienna to spend an unforgettable ball night in the former imperial residence. Enjoy the music of top orchestras, breath taking jazz performances and the elegance of the Viennese ball tradition.

The Hofburg Ball der Wiener Wirtschaft (Hofburg Ball of Vienna's Economy) is not only a Viennese carnival tradition, together with all Vienne balls it also represents a very important factor for the economy. Every year the Ball season generates a turnover of EUR 100 million. The Hofburg Vienna balls contribute for an added value of EUR 7,5 million for Austria and EUR 10,2 Million for Vienna. Between 55,000 and 60,000 guests will take part in at the twenty balls in the Hofburg Palace. In the ball season 2012/13 the Hofburg Vienna will be very proud hosting the premiere of the New Year's Eve ball "Le Grand Bal".
